Staff Report
Staff reports - News & Views - are prepared and contributed by Appenzeller Business Press AG (ARBP) staff writers and editors. The Daily Bell selects articles and topics for their appropriateness from a free-market standpoint and utilizes this perspective as an over-riding criterion. The Bell itself is unapologetically free-market and its perspective tends toward absolute privatization of all money functions and unconstrained capitalism so long as the capitalistic enterprise is not in any way advantaged by government. Additionally, the Bell editorial policy includes the assumption that the monetary elite creates often-destructive, or at least dubious, dominant social themes in order to advance its wealth and power. The Bell makes no assumptions about the nationality, race or gender of this elite (except that its primarily Western) and casts no aspersions.
